Lead thieves strip houses

Lead thieves have struck again, stripping homes of their lead flashing.
Police have issued a warning after a man was scared off by a 19-year-old woman who was awoken when she heard someone she thought was trying to get into the house, in West Glebe Road, Corby.

The thief ripped lead sheets off the window canopy before running off towards West Glebe allotments.

Lead flashing from a house across the street was also stolen.
Anyone with information about the incidents should call police on 08453 700700.
