The 16 year old will donate her waist-long hair to the Little Princess Trust

A 16-year-old student from Corby is preparing to 'brave the shave' for Macmillan Cancer Support and crop her waist-long hair to a number one.

Redhead Molly Stewart, who attends Tresham College, initially wanted to fund a cancer care nurse for one week and has smashed her original target of £573.

Her mum Lisa Porch will be cutting off her daughter's amazing auburn locks which will then be donated to the Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs to children and young people with hair loss.

Health and social care student Molly said: "I thought about doing it a while ago in lockdown when a friend of mine shaved their head but I didn't. I needed to be ready to do it and I'm ready now.
